Bought this because I switched to brewed cacao and the grind quality of the brand I'm getting is terrible. The grind is so inconsistent that there is cacao powder and chunks. That powder will not work in a paper filter. (My preference) So a metal filter is recommended. This filter works fine. I can see how it might leak if the liquid was coming through pretty fast. I haven't found this to be a problem for me.
