It took me about 4 hours to unpack and assemble, which I did out on my covered patio on a warm spring day in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Other than a couple of small missing washers, all of the parts plus a few extra were provided. It went together following the printed instructions with simply a Phillips head screw driver and a small 3/8" socket set with a couple of sockets. Having an awl punch to line up some of the holes helped. I did have to warp the smoker half cover by hand slightly to get it to close properly with no big air gaps. I may invest in some fireproof sealing tape once I fire it up if too much smoke is leaking. I will experiment with it this weekend with a rack of spare ribs I bought on sale for $1.99/pound, along with some Head County dry rub. I also purchased some bags of Hickory and Mesquite chips as well as a Weber fire chimney and fire starter. I have plenty of Kingsford Charcoal. I will report back after the first couple of trials. It is quite thin gauge sheet metal, so some fireproof black spray paint may be required after using. Update on first use on March 10, 2017, it worked well on a rack of spar ribs but I had to fill the small smoker twice with fresh charcoal coals and water soaked hickory chips to achieve a full 6 hours of smoking time and it was difficult to hold 240 degrees and kept dropping down to 225 and lower, so I had to keep opening the dampers to get more heat which burned up the charcoal and wood chips faster. . .
