This smart toilet seat is compatible with elongated toilets only. To ensure the right fit, measure your toilet seat; it should be between 18" and 20" in length for the elongated version. Does this smart toilet seat require an outlet? Yes. Ensure your bathroom has an electrical outlet, the Smartwhale Bidet Seat comes with a 3.2 feet long power cord. What should be noted during the installation of the T-valve? 3 types of T-valves in sizes 3/8 inch, 1/2 inch, and 7/8 inch to address your installation needs. The 7/8-inch T-valve for installation at the toilet tank, while the 3/8 or 1/2-inch T-valves are suitable for installation at the water supply valve. Remote Control Not Working? Step 1: Unplug the bidet seat and turn off the power. Step 2: Press and hold the "Front" button on the remote control for 3-4 seconds（Indicator light flashes）. At the same time, plug in the power. The indicator light goes out, pairing is successful. What should I do if there’s a small leak at the connection points? Some toilet models have unique connection sizes that might cause minor leaks. You can resolve this by adding an extra rubber ring or using the waterproof tape we provide.

Quality product, lots of adjustable features. Seat temperature, water temperature, air dry temperature, water pressure, nozzle position and movement, seat light on or off and YES you can turn the beep sound on or off if you buy the seat with the silent upgrade. What you lose with the silent upgrade is the ability to save settings for two people.Install was easy considering these kinds of installs require tightening fittings in awkward locations. I was able to install the included hose to the tee fitting before installing the tee which eliminated one awkward fitting to tighten.The cardboard template worked perfectly to position the seat.I used a smart plug to connect the bidet to my outlet to eliminate electrical consumption when not in use.I created an Alexa routine to turn power on for the bidet, after 5 minutes Alexa tells me the toilet is ready. After 30 minutes it will turn off the power for the bidet. (This routine fits my needs for my bidet use, you can create your own if you prefer different time limits or maybe make a sound of your choice to notify you the toilet is ready (Crowd cheering. LOL))If you don't know how to set up Alexa routines you can simply install a smart plug and ask Alexa to turn on your smart plug a few minutes prior to toilet use so the seat can warm up then ask Alexa to turn off the smart plug when you are finished. (The heating of water for cleaning is accomplished by an instant warm water system so you don't have to consider time to heat the water.)I hope this information helps
