The Hay Chix Half Bale Net (formerly known as 'Mini Net') attaches easily to a trailer, eye hook, fence or tree. This net has an oval snap included for easier hanging. Use it in the stall for a bored or stall bound horse. This net helps save time when setting up feedings, just hang and you are done! It is also perfect for keeping your feeding program on track while on the go. This net holds about 1/2 of a small square bale (4-6 flakes.) Whether at home or away, use this easy to fill net for all your horse needs.Safety Warning: We do not recommend use with horned animals, horses with blankets, or non-breakaway halters. Net may be used with shod horses and animals with split hooves but must be used with a hay ring that is flush with the ground or hung high enough so they cannot paw at it. Net may be used with blankets as long as the buckles are covered or there is a barrier between the netted bale and the blanket.

I have tried 4 different slow feeders, and this one is my favorite. My horse has tried slow feeders with openings as small as 1”, but this feeder at 1.25” has been the best fit and has slowed him down the most. At $65, this net is a steal! I have tried slow feeders ranging from $65 (this net) to $450. For my horse that needed his intake to be slowed way down, this net was the absolute best! This net is great quality and it’s functional. I have a 75 gallon tub that has an eye bolt in there and I just clip the net to that. Its works great! I am also very thankful to Amazon for having this be a Prime product. I live in Alaska and the shipping direct from the manufacturer was expensive. Thank you Amazon & Haychix!
