I picked this pressure cooker because it lis like the one my mom used when I was growing up in France many years ago. I saw many meals prepared in that pressure cooker and it lasted for many many years. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles but i didn't want them anyway because most of the time they end up breaking or just unnecessary. I wanted simple, easy and safe to use. I am definitely so happy with this pressure cooker. It is so sturdy, simple and it heats the food so fast.
