I was going to a BBQ yesterday when I remembered I had downloaded this book. I made the Vegan Velveeta cheese dip and Vegan Salsa Verde. Super easy to follow recipes that were good vegan alternatives. A couple of friends turned their up their noses when I told them they were vegan dips, but they loved it and took large scoops onto their plates. My super simple chips and dips were the perfect hits. I turned a couple more pages and found a brilliant Thai salad with tofu in pineapple and BBQ sauce. That’s what I’ll bring next time. Great book and I haven’t gotten to the dinners. I love slow cooker recipes and the ones in the back look like winners. I’ll have to get my wife on it now. I’m kidding. I like how the book seems to be primarily about replacing those gluttonous meals I miss. Ingenious recipes, like the ones in this book are why I don’t miss eating all that garbage.
