I’ve been a paleo follower for a while now and I was looking to ramp up my food options to have a varied menu every day. This book is a godsend. Not only did it make my diet more exciting, it gave me meal ideas that I would cook again and again. The only downside is how the recipes were written with experienced cooks in mind. A novice cook might not add some of the ingredients at the exact time they’re to be added. But for people new to the paleo diet, this should be their go-to guide. It has everything you need to know about the paleo diet as well as pressure cooking.It’s great that a lot of the ingredients here can already be found in my kitchen. Or maybe it’s because I stock up on so many kitchen and pantry items.I found it wasn’t easy to come by easy-to-cook paleo recipes. There were a lot online, but I needed a collection of recipes I could easily scan while in the kitchen. So this Kindle copy was a big help. I’ve been finding myself reaching for my kindle every time I felt like whipping up a hearty meal. I just wish the author focused more on recipes, not explaining the paleo diet and its benefits because paleos already know about that stuff. What we need are lots and lots of recipes. But again, that part about being informative about the paleo diet is good for paleo beginners.While I have a knack for cooking, I’ve never been good with using a pressure cooker. I’ve used my pressure cooker three or four times ever since I bought it last year and everything I made before I had this book was from the manufacturer’s instructions and the internet. I can have great meals while eating healthy now. All the dishes turned out great and my apartment would smell wonderful. I shared my meals with friends and they enjoyed them, so much they might become paleo eaters themselves. I particularly loved the tenderness and juiciness. The beef would feel as soft as butter yet rich the moment my fork landed on it. Just saying that makes my mouth watery. Let your family and friends have some of your pressure-cooked meals as well so that they may try the paleo diet, too.In terms of writing, the book is well organized and easy to read with clear-enough directions. I love how it has details like servings per dish, pressure needed, and cooking among other things. If you adjust the flavors according to your liking, the dish will still most likely turn out great. The timing information for each kind of food and nutrition information for every recipe make the book a winner.Overall, I have my pressure cooker and my cookbook to thank for assisting me throughout my paleo journey. They make it easier for me to adhere to the diet. Who needs any other diet when there’s the paleo diet and pressure cooking?
