The instruction is very bad after we opened the box, the plastic measuring cup is very small compare to another one we ended buying from Dash. There are no symbols what so ever to tell you what water level equals to the hardness of the eggs. We right away tried to return this product and then found out that we have to ship it back at our own cost. Since it is located in China, we think the shipping cost will cost more than the purchase price so we decided to try to use it. We filled the cup with water to the top level hoping the will get the hard egg. It took us several times for the switch to work and then it quickly turned off with no beeping or warning sound. I checked the egg, as you can see in the photo, it is liquid both in the yellow and the white part. There is still water remaining at the bottom of the machine. Also at the bottom of the cup, there is a small plastic sharp point for you to poke hole in the egg before cooking it, it is such a bad quality and I cannot even poke a hole with it, we had to use our other machine from Dash which has a metal needle to poke the hole. We bought because it looks cute and thought it was a good idea to cook eggs in an hen shaped machine but it is absolutely a horrible machine and it is definitely not working. An egg cooked like that is health hazard.
